Dying2Drive demonstration by the Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance. The danger of young people being involved in accidents has dramatic consequences. Over 80% of the schools in Herefordshire attended what was a hard-hitting consequence of dangerous driving.
The High Sheriff, Bill Jackson Esq., attended a lecture at the Hereford Courtyard Theatre, given by Professor Mary Stuart, Vice Chancellor of the University of Lincoln, Hereford University’s trust founder’s lecture. It is amazing how similar Lincoln is to Hereford,i.e. the cathedral etc.
Shakespeare at Stratford Upon Avon with West Midlands High Sheriffs. It was an interesting experience watching King Lear, and it was my first experience of watching Shakespeare at Stratford.
The High Sheriff, Bill Jackson Esq., attended a fundraising event at Burton Court, Eardisland, for Parkinsons UK, Hereford, organised by Sue and Ian Cole, celebrating their 45th Wedding Anniversary. Over 140 people attended and it was a wonderful atmosphere.

The High Sheriff of Herefordshire, Bill Jackson Esq. hosted an evening at Burton Court marking the half way point of his year. A very enjoyable evening, with superb food and excellent company. Bill thanked the guests for their support to date and gave a brief history of the role of the High Sheriff.
