The High Sheriff, Bill Jackson Esq. attended the 20th Anniversary of the Martha Trust Charity, and the opening of the second home at Sophie House, Hereford. It was all a great success and the new building is a wonderful facility.
Longland Care Farm
The High Sheriff, Bill Jackson Esq. attended a fundraiser for Longlands Care Farm. It was a wonderful evening. He especially enjoyed the Cathedral Girl Choristers of Worcester Cathedral, together with Rule Britannia, Pomp and Circumstance No. 1 by Elgar, performed by The British Police Symphony Orchestra.
Service of Thanksgiving
The High Sheriff, Bill Jackson Esq. attended a Service of Thanksgiving at Hereford Cathedral to mark the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. It is just amazing that they need to raise seven million pounds per annum.
HOPE Family Centre
The High Sheriff, Bill Jackson Esq. visited the HOPE centre to discuss funding. HOPE Family Centre is a local charity offering services to everyone within a six-mile radius of Bromyard, together with an excellent cafe with wonderful Leek and Potato soup, Well worth a visit!
