Bob attended the annual Herefordshire Summer Sainsburys School Games which was held at the Hereford Leisure Centre and at Wyeside, the Cathedral School’s playing fields.  Schools from across the County took part with in excess of 1,200 pupils attending, competing in Rounders, Cricket, Tennis, Golf Extreme, Orienteering, Rounders, Boules and Athletics.  Denise Strutt, Chair of the local organising committee and Head Teacher of Whitecross High School and Specialist Sports College introduced the event before asking Paralympian Basket Ball player Dan Highcock to talk about his motivation, life experiences and athletic career.  Bob then officially declared the Games open.  It was an incredibly enjoyable and inspirational day made possible by a large group of hard working teachers and volunteers.
