Victoria County History

The High Sheriff and his wife welcomed the Herefordshire Victoria County History (VCH) Trust to Brampton Bryan.

There were stimulating talks by Professor Timothy Mowl and Dr Jane Bradney about the picturesque movement in Herefordshire and the historic gardens of Brampton Bryan Hall.

Over seventy supporters of the VCH attended including the Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, the Countess Darnley.
