By 2014 Major Patrick Darling

On Wednesday 4th February the High Sheriff visited the Royal National College for the Blind.  On arrival he was greeted by Mrs Sheila Tallon, the Principle and he was then given presentations by Stephanie Mackey on Independence, Teresa Allen on IT, Mr Mark Fisher on Student Support Services, Jane Crabtree onPhysiotherapy and Tony Larkin.  It was a pleasure to have an insight into the college and to meet many of the students.  We have an institution of national importance in Hereford which is also a national beacon of excellence. All of the facilities are modern, inspiring and give real hope to people suffering from visual impairment.
