A Zoom with NILS

Last week I met Lisa from NILS on Zoom, and was able to hear about her work with the No Interest Loan Scheme. NILS covers Herefordshire and neighbouring counties and Lisa is mainly based in Leominster but welcomes enquiries from all parts of the county.
NILS provides loans to people finding themselves in need of a ‘hand up, rather than a hand out’, and it was heartening to hear that despite the restrictions, Lisa has continued to provide support to those in need by phone and email. Quotes from those NILS has helped, sum up how necessary its support is:
