The High Sheriff and Mrs Tabor were delighted to attend the Presentation of a British Empire Medal to Mrs Wendy Price at Llangrove Village Hall on Saturday 4th May by HM Lord Lieutenant for Herefordshire, The Countess of Darnley.  It was a very happy and relaxed event with friends and family in attendance to support Wendy.  The Medal was presented to Wendy in recognition of the wide-ranging and incredible work she does voluntarily for children and young people.  Just some of the work Wendy does involves the Guides, the Brownies, the Rainbows and Leapfrogs. She also runs pre and after school clubs, a holiday club and Pathfinders and has been doing so for the past thirty years.

After the Presentation, tea and cakes were served by the Guides.
