The High Sheriff and the Vice Chairman of Herefordshire Council with their wreaths

The High Sheriff attended the Remembrance Service and Parade in the City of Hereford and laid a wreath in memory of the fallen in the County.   The Service was led by the Revd Preb Paul Towner, the Mayor’s Chaplain.  The uniformed parade was found by 6 Rifles E Company and the Rifle Cadets and included the Salvation Army, the Scouts and Guides, the Sea Cadets, the Air Cadets, the Police, the Epics and St John’s Ambulance.  The Archdeacon of Hereford the Venerable Paddy  Benson preached the sermon.  After the Service the parade marched past the Revd Preb Kay Garlick DL, Councillor John Stone representing the Chairman of the Council, the Right Worshipful Mayor of Hereford and the High Sheriff.  After the Parade the Rt Worshipful Mayor of Hereford Councillor Len Tawn and his Consort Jenny entertained the guests to coffee in the Town Hall.
