Bob sounded the horn to officially start the 2013 Hope Valley Run at Woolhope on Sunday 19th May.  The race is a 6 mile multi-terrain run through scenic Herefordshire countryside which includes woodlands, fields and ash paths with road at the start and finish.  The first Hope Valley Run was organised by Ronnie Scully in 2006 in order to raise money for entry to the London Marathon.  This year Max Scully (Ronnie’s son) has run the London Marathon to raise funds for the charity Chickenshed (where Max volunteers  while studying at Drama School).  Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre which aims to bring together young people from all social and economic  backgrounds, races and abilities to produce outstanding theatre.  It was a great fun morning and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
