Councillor Len Tawn was installed as the 633rd Mayor of Hereford at a ceremony in the Town Hall on 19th May. At the same ceremony Cllr Phillip Edwards relinquished his Mayoral duties. Councillor Charles Nichols was elected Deputy Mayor. After the ceremony the company processed to the Shire Hall for dinner. The High Sheriff was honoured and delighted to propose the toast to Hereford and to wish the new Mayor all success in ensuring the New development and the Old are of mutual benefit to each other.
