Royal Three Counties Show

The High Sheriff of Herefordshire, Mr Bill Jackson Esq., along with Gillian Handley attended the Royal Three Counties Show, beginning with the Opening Ceremony at 10.30am.   Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, opened the three day event and presented long service awards.  There was fine weather while the Princess was at the show, and a wonderful grand parade at 3.30pm, followed by a tremendous downpour at about 4.00pm; they sheltered at Hereford Hop, showing the best of Herefordshire, and helped to man the Enterprise Zone stand.

At 5.oopm they attended the Reception with the National Farers’ Union (NFU) President, Meurig Raymond, together with Anthony Snell and Patrick Wrixon, the Herefordshire NFU County Chairman.
