Bob and Bea attended the Gloucestershire Annual Legal Service and Declaration as High Sheriff of Mr Thomas Frost on Sunday 20th March at Gloucester Cathedral as guests of The Hon Hugh Tollemache, Mr Thomas Frost and His Honour Judge Tabor. Also in attendance were HM Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, Dame Janet Trotter DBE as well as neighbouring High Sheriffs, civic and legal dignitaries.
The Cathedral Choir was conducted by Mr Adrian Partington, Director of Music and the Organist was Mr Jonathan Hope, Assistant Director of Music. The Dean of Gloucester, The Very Reverend Stephen Lake welcomed the congregation and the first reading was read by The Rt Hon The Lord Justice McFarlane. The second reading was read by His Honour Judge Tabor QC and The Right Reverend Michael Perham, Bishop of Gloucester gave the sermon.
Following the service, the Declaration Ceremony for Mr Frost took place with the final prayers being led by the Reverend Haydn Smart, Chaplain to the High Sheriff and the Blessing being given by the Dean.
