CADET OPEN DAY- TYDESSLEY WOOD CADET TRAINING CENTRE – 13TH SEPTEMBER

19/09/2014

By 2014 Major Patrick Darling

The High Sheriff visited the Hereford and Worcester Army Cadet Force at its Open Day at Tydessley Wood hosted by Colonel Andy Taylor.  It was very interesting to see this invaluable facility at first hand.  It has now been acquired by the West Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, their development plans include a new 25m range and this will considerably enhance the truing opportunities for the ACF in this region.

The Cadets laid on Duke of Edinburghs Award Presentations and fieldcraft and first aid demonstrations .  It was impressive to see such enthusiasm from bright young people who are a credit to their counties.
