‘Dying to Drive’

‘Dying to Drive’ is a yearly initiative held by the H&W Fire and Rescue Service, the WM Police and supported by Ange Tyler who has set up the ELY Memorial Fund in memory of her daughter Emma to help families affected by tragic road accident deaths. Witnessing a role play of a road traffic collision is impactful in itself but followed by workshops that emphasise and demonstrate the dangers of driving (Seatbelts, Speed, Distractions, Drink or drugs)
It really hits home hard. The schools (16 and 17 yr olds) who join the day are heavily impacted by this initiative and if it can save just one life then it’s done it’s job.
Always remembering my ever young and handsome brother who died in a car accident aged just 26 (see photo).
Thank you Ange for your bravery and to Tom’s mother. We need to speak out.
