Bob and Bea were delighted to attend the Festival of Lessons and Carols at Hereford Cathedral on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd December 2013.  The Services were beautifully conducted by The Dean, The Very Reverend Michael Tavinor and the music and singing were absolutely magnificent on both occasions.  The Bishop of Ludlow, The Right Reverend Alistair Magowan and The Boy Bishop, Hereford Cathedral Chorister, Orlando Timmerman attended on both days.  On Sunday 22nd the Service was also attended by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, The Countess of Darnley JP accompanied by The Earl of Darnley DL as well as the Mayor and Mayoress of Hereford.   Also on Sunday 22nd Bob read The Sixth Lesson – St Matthew 1, 18-25.  The Vice-Chairman of Hereford Council attended on Monday 23rd December.  Both occasions were very joyful and festive and greatly enjoyed by packed congregations of anything up to 1,300 people.
