For Christmas Eve it seems appropriate to visit the cathedral and talk to our new Dean. Listen to tales of ghosts and dog collars; and of an errant past where she describes herself as a “dangerous beast”, how she found God, the place of the cathedral in the community, her challenges and our challenges – Christmas is not all tinsel and crackers. She speaks of God’s redemption, but don’t be put off – she’s definitely not pious! As ever a few tips about beautiful Herefordshire and how warm the community is.
